SPECIFICATIONS:
The Sea Turtle was built in 1978. It was designed by William Garden, a naval architect and marine engineer and skilled shipwright who learned to sail and build boats before he began designing them over seven decades ago. Garden designed boats to be built with wood, fiberglass, or a combination of both. The Sea Turtle was built with 3" redwood and fiberglass overlay.
The Sea Turtle is a Coast Guard documented vessel.
She is a very steady boat that can take rough waters with ease. It's a pleasure to set her main sail and sit back while she stays on course (until it's time to tack, of course). The original diesel engine was removed by the previous owner. She is now powered by two 25 HP Yamaha outboards that push her with ease.
